2014 Austin Convention Brochure

Convention Sponsorship Brochure

The Multiples of America Finance Department wants to remind Austin 2014 Hearts of Texas convention attendees to pack your credit cards and some extra cash! Your heart's desire is to purchase several new items from PPS (Product Promotion Sales) with Multiples of America during convention at the MOM's Mall this year. We are offering several new products for you to take home to your clubs to promote our new rebranding logo.  You will also be able to use your credit card this summer for a small convenience fee. Vintage items are still available for purchase. Looking forward to seeing you at the PPS table!

“The stars at night are big and bright... Deep in the Heart of Texas!”

Austin Mothers of Multiples is planning a fun-filled week for July 20-26, 2014. Pre-convention tours and activities will be Sunday, July 20 through Tuesday, July 22, 2014. Convention will be Wednesday, July 23 through Saturday, July 26, 2014. Experience Austin, the capital of Texas and Live Music Capital of the World®!

Have you been wishing to spend more time with other parents of multiples who really get what it’s like? Sometimes it’s hard to make time to meet up with friends in the same town, let alone friends from across the country. But there’s just nothing like a heart to heart over a cup of coffee, a glass of wine, or a margarita! So start making your plans now to join us in Austin for the “Hearts of Texas” Multiples of America Convention!

Reserve your room quickly and easily on the Hyatt’s website dedicated exclusively to our convention. No additional codes are needed when you go to https://aws.passkey.com/g/20069075 and book your room. You may also call central reservations at 1-800-233-1234 and mention the Multiples of America event. Book by June 19th to ensure you get the discounted rate!

Please note that one night’s stay will be charged to your credit or debit card when you book your reservation. When you stay at the hotel, you’ll also get 50% off self-parking in the Hyatt’s new attached multi-level garage with unlimited in and out privileges.

Convention registration will open in early April! Check back here for our online brochure and the link to our online registration.

If you have never been to convention or haven’t been in a while, here’s some of what you’ve been missing. Our workshops offer a more intimate setting to both learn something new and bond with fellow parents of multiples. Workshop topics will include National Shareshops, club topics such as Consignment Sales, having multiples topics such as Multiples in School, and just for fun topics such as Meet the Author. You’ll also mingle and have fun with the whole gang at the Meet and Greet, Sing-a-long, Friday Night Party, and during receptions after Opening Ceremonies and before and after our Installation Banquet. Luncheons and our Installation Banquet have a mix of assigned tables at some and open seating at others. So you’ll make new friends or get a chance to catch up with old friends while enjoying a delicious meal and an informative presentation. Learn about all the different aspects of National while you meet some of the volunteers who help it all come together in the Resource Room. Honor and remember those we have lost during our Memorial Service. And of course, we’re also gathering to conduct the business of our organization.

We’ve got a few special activities in the works just for the Austin convention, too. Show your pride in your club, your hometown, and your home state with our door decorating contest! We’ll have a special shareshop hour to meet up with parents whose multiples are at the same stage as yours, grouped by under-five, elementary aged, middle/high school aged, and adult multiples. Join us for some early morning group workouts – for all activity levels! – on the lawn at Auditorium Shores next door to the Hyatt. And we’ll have adventures and experience what makes Austin and the Hill Country unique during our add-on tours. Be sure to look for the convention brochure in April for all the details!
