Educational materials are available to both member clubs and individuals. All of our products can be found in our online store.
Multiples of America's Notebook, a complimentary quarterly publication, is sent directly to the home of every member. Each issue contains articles of interest to parents of multiple birth children and includes research information, club ideas, expert and age-specific columns, and much more.
Research is a primary goal of Multiples of America and we are the liaison between clubs and researchers. Members have the advantage of participating in research projects of a medical, educational, or social nature. Participation is highly encouraged; however, it is strictly voluntary.
In addition to participating and having access to the latest research nationwide, as a parent of multiples, you also have the opportunity to be a part of our own internal research. We currently have more than 70 research reports available for your review. We also encourage all of our members and nonmembers to help us build our own database with information about multiples so we may have the largest in the world by completing a Multiple Birth Data Form.
Referrals to the nearest local club are available for new and expectant parents of multiples. These referrals provide your club with valuable membership growth and expanded research potential, as well as a resource for support and exchange of ideas.
Multiples of America support programs include bereavement, higher order multiples, single parent, Spanish-speaking, and special needs support. These programs provide members nationwide the opportunity for more specialized support and networking opportunities which may not be available at the local level. Listings of referral agencies, coping centers, research studies, and educational materials are also available upon request.
Multiples of America members receive a 25% discount on our many products available. Members also receive a discounted rate for attending our annual convention.
NonprofitMultiples of America is classified by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) educational and research corporation that is exempt from federal income taxes. Member clubs may apply for group tax exemption as a subordinate chapter of Multiples of America before March 1 for the previous fiscal year. This allows a club to enjoy many of the benefits of nonprofit status including the ability to receive tax-deductible gifts and donations and the opportunity to apply for tax-exempt status within your own state.
Our convention is held each year during the last full week of July. We offer educational, research and networking opportunities for parents of multiples all across the country. Convention attendees have an opportunity to hear qualified speakers and attend special workshops on a variety of subjects which offer assistance to clubs and individuals.
Multiples of America's National/State Liaison stimulates an exchange of ideas among the state organizations - bridging the gap between local clubs, state organizations, and Multiples of America.
